Active Facebook community where collectors share transportation tokens, ask identification questions, discuss research, and buy or trade material.
Exonumist.com is a personal reference site for my collection of transportation tokens, with a focus on New York City transit history. My interest in tokens grew out of a long fascination with the New York City subway and the everyday objects connected to its history.
While this site currently focuses on New York City transportation exonumia, my broader collection includes tokens and exonumia with unusual history, obscure varieties, or under-documented significance.
Documented transportation material sits alongside discoveries, varieties, errors, oddities, and related areas of collecting. I occasionally make duplicate tokens available to other collectors.
